May 6, 2008Yes it’s true I couldn’t believe it, someone has actually used me in their sales letter headline, great! Well not so, see they are saying that if I attend their event I can meet 6 coaches who are more successful than I am! How can they tell? I’m not really sure.
There is a saying that there is no such thing as bad publicity, all publicity is good publicity, so I take this as a complement. I do hope that whoever reads the sales letter will at least Google me to find out who this Jacqui Tillyard person is, at last fame could be within my reach.
Silly thing is if the person concerned had approached me personally I could have sent out information about their event to around 1000 people potentially their target market and in my immediate network. See if you self promote try to promote others too.
Thought for the day, if you involve someone to promote your business, at least ask them first and try to create some kind of joint venture. In this case I have to say I am getting a number of referrals from this person so they aren’t really taking my name in vain!!
